One In Five Use Broadband On The Go

A new survey by YouGov, one of the UK’s leading market research and polling firms shows that over 20% of users accessing the internet have done so with a mobile phone. In addition, over 10% of internet users regularly go online using a USB dongle or 3G data card.

The survey found that mobile broadband use was most popular amongst students and, surprise, surprise, “highly mobile” people. However, customer satisfaction has a long way to go. Although prices are falling and HSPDA network speeds rising, only 25% of people signed up to a mobile broadband deal gave a rating of 8 out of 10 or higher.
