Its OK, it would be like a DSL connection.
You might sometimes see a drop in connection, just like a cell phone

We had mobile broadband from o2 and it was so slow you couldn’t do any thing on it, all I could really use it for was msn. You couldn’t watch videos on YouTube or anything because of how slow it was and web pages sometimes took up to 4/5 minutes to load and it used to take around 30 minutes (sometimes more) just to download 1 song. You might get a higher speed depending on where you live though, but we sent ours back because of how slow it was and now we have normal broadband but dont use the landline like you.I would never get mobile broadband again and wouldn’t recommend it.
hi i have mobile broadband with t mobile .. its £10amonth for 1st 3 months than £15 after.. i.m on it all the time.. and very rarely lose connection.. i.m on the fair usage price and never gone over.. plus they dont charge you if u go over. what they do is advise you on a larger package if needed. and thinks its great
if you have a laptop then i would say yes mobile broadband might be the better option for you. the only downside is that on most mobile broadband plans you have a download limit and this includes watching video’s on youtube etc. if you go over your monthly limit you will be charged extra. another thing is if you live in area that that has poor mobile reception your connection speed will be slower. hope i’ve been helpful.
From past experience, I can catergorically say that I would NEVER go back to mobile broadband, particularly 3 mobile. I had so many problems it was unreal, we pay £3 a month more and have a constant connection, unlimited download and landline usage.
