Question by WestieHop123: Can i connect my Mobile Broadband Dongle to my router?
I am currently using a plug-and-play dongle to connect to my Mobile Broadband and I was wondering if it was possible to connect this dongle to my wireless router so that myself and my family members can all use the internet wirelessly without having the dongle plugged in to our actual computers? Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks in advance.

Some Wifi routers are available which support this, but be sure to check compatibilty with dongles, some have a list, some were strictly own brand.
Cheapest I can find is:

Compatibility list:

A portable unit is avaialble

The tidiest solution is a one piece mobile to Wifi unit, the “Mifi”

I recommend the Zoom 4501 3G router at about 40 GBP on the net. Plug your dongle in the back. It has wireless and LAN ethernet capability and a very easily used interface. Check the Zoom site for compatibility with your dongle.
i would recommend you purchase a mifi as i have used one for over 2 years and its still going strong. They are fairly cheap at around £49.99 and can be unlocked for free using the net)
Yes this is possible by using a USB enabled wireless router. You just plug your USB dongle into it and off you go (click on the link below and look at the section “Using your mobile broadband dongle to connect a network”).
