Question by Miroslav Zadravec: Can I turn my wireless of, if I am using USB stick as a module on a laptop for mobile broadband?
Can I turn my wireless off, if I am using USB stick as a module on a laptop for mobile broadband? I think it should not be a problem, because that USB adapter acts as a reciever of signal…I want to turn wireless off, in order to increase my battery life and lower the temperature on my ThinkPad x60s…Thanks for the answers!

Yep wont be a problem after all every time you turn it off you are effectively turning it off. If you can get to the stick easily which if you are using a laptop you should i would just unplug it instead of messing with settings trying to de-activate it, it is USB so it will recognise it as soon as you plug it back in

Hope this helps
