Question by frindabelle: Can you use a different mobile broadband to the one that got on contract?
HP compaq notebook that was got with Orange mobile broadband, Is it ok to change the network to virgin Mobile broadband instead?
i was just wondering if it would conflict with the orange one as it was brought on orange? a bit like when you get a contract phone you it woun’t accept another sim card ina the phone? I hope that makes sense! :o )

There will be no SIM lock on the PC.
(in fact Orange dont SIM lock much.. put a pretty badge on it. put some custom S/w on it.. but not lock it)

But if the PC came with a discount because you had a minimum contract for braodband with Orange, then you will have to continue to pay that.
But have to use it ? no.

You can use anyone you like eg ’3′ currently offering 15GB for 15pounds/month.. .
of course whether everyone/anyone can get that much out of the network is another question.. .but if you did, you would be within your bundle ;)
