If you are saying that you want to connect your Wii to your phone or broadband dongle then I’m afraid not. Both are receivers of data. To connect your Wii to the internet you’ll need a wifi transmitter such as a wireless router.

Assuming you have a laptop/PC with a wifi card: Confiqure your laptop to share its usb o2 dongle internet connection using your wireless network connection – for windows XP this is in done in “network connections” from the control panel, right click on your internet connection and click properties, Advanced tab, and tick “internet connection sharing”. other versions of windows will be similar but not sure of other operating systems.
Its possible that then you can connect the wii to your laptop/PC and make use of its internet connection. worth a try for a zero cost solution.
your going to have to buy something. I suggest you get a router.
You have two options:
1) buy a wireless router. I bought one new for about $30.00
2) buy enough cable to connect the wired router to the Wii, then pay $25.00 for the adapter to connect it to the Wii.
By the time you buy a cable and adapter, which limits the location of the console, you could purchase a wireless router and still move the Wii to any television in range.
I suggest a wireless router, and connecting the Wii to the net is definitely worth it.
