Question by Hariet: Three mobile broadband and world of warcraft?
I use three mobile broadband(dongle) internet as it is the only one available to me. I am interested in world of warcraft and was wondering if the game would use many megabytes or is it mainly cd rom.

Patches?
Your talking Gigabytes not megabytes.
You wont have much luck with a 3 dongle if its only say 1-5GB downloads

World of Warcraft downloads tons and tons of patches over a year, and expansions are coming out more often now, although you can buy cd-roms for those. You don’t need to have the cd in the drive to play WoW, it uses all the data it stores on your computer. Broadband speed is very important in WoW, you should have a 52mbps or greater connection to be able to play it well. The entire game is in real time, so you’ll see other players walk by you, attack you, talk to you, ext. and that requires a lot of information to be transferred fairly quickly.
