Question by Kyra: What could be wrong with my 3 mobile broadband?
I’ve had a 3 mobile broadband dongle since last year and its always worked fine. Yesterday when I was on it it kept disconnecting me though and now it wont find a network at all, and my laptop says its not recognising/picking up the USB.
Has anyone else had this? Do I need to buy a new one? (Am using someone elses computer at the moment)

I assume you have tried calling the technical dpmnt at 3?

happened to mine too
i had to take it into the 3 store
they gave me a new one
Could be your local mast you connect to could be having problems or could be down. The masts or cells only cover one or two square miles each.
Assuming you have a mobile phone how many signal strength bars have you got on it because it works the same way?
3 network are shit IMO
my phone is with them and for 2 days this week i have had no signal, i went into the shop and asked WTF? the very weary man said that they had lost dozens of transponders or some shit…..
i also have a dongle, mine doesn’t like working indoors, or on trains so its about as much use as a chocolate fireguard really.
3 are cunts of the highest order.
incidentally i went on a rather nice bikeride yesterday , brilliant signal in the middle of nowhere…. really useful that.
