vodafone mobile broadband to work on ubuntu?


Question by croft.j: vodafone mobile broadband to work on ubuntu?
i have just bort a new laptop but is running ubuntu and i have been trying to connect my vodafone pay as you go mobile broadband with the laptop but i can not install the software needed as ubuntu does not support the usb stick… is there a wasy to get the mobile broadband software installed on the laptop?

Vodafone has got good coverage in the UK and works on Linux, Windows and Mac… Vodafone is more expensive as it is better ;)

    We don’t have the settings for Ubuntu, however if you pop over to http://www.betavine.net they will be able to provide you with the drivers that you need to use your Vodafone dongle with Ubuntu.
