I would suggest getting the new Verizon MIfi device. It is a mobile card that you can connect directly to a computer or you can turn it into a hotspot and have up to five people connect through wireless. Yes you will be able to watch you tube vid and surf the internet.
Check out my article on Verizon Mifi and see for yourself why it is good.

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think about the MiFi.

Dont, its really still in early stages and to be honest its crap..
We signed up to 18 months on t mobile and have got compensation off them and cancelled contract, was on off on off all time… person at back with a different network is the same.. they just threw theirs in bin..
as it uses same network as the phones its very hit and miss.. i have not heard one person say its great, always disconnect and connects back up later or get no signal
would never have it again
That’s easy mobile bb with three, PAYG £25 for 7gb a month, board band you can take with you.
better infrastructure needed and cheaper pricing
vodafone and orange suck
It’s absolutely no substitute for home broadband – the speeds are a lot slower and the download limits are far, far stricter for what you pay. It’s more for people who want to send the odd e-mail and surf the web on the move.
You can get away with watching the odd YouTube vid, but if you use YouTube all the time, you’ll use up your monthly limit in no time.
And it’ll almost certainly work out cheaper if you get your own laptop, get a free 3 mobile dongle (just £4.99 postage from http://www.3dongle4free.co.uk) then unlock it to use on any network. Then, just shop around for the best SIM-only broadband deal.
Here’s a list of them all and what they offer.

It depends what you mean by best – Speed, cost, signal strength or availability or other factors?
In London the fastest for download speed in order is Vodafone, Orange,T-Mobile, Virgin, O2, 3mobile.
Upload speed: Vodafone,T-Mobile, O2, Orange, Virgin, 3mobile.
On cost they are all pretty similar but what really counts is how good the signal is where you are when your’e using it. Vodafone might seem the best but that’s no good if you can’t get a signal!
I use 3mobile PAYG which is odd when you look at the above facts but I have no complaints other than it’s sometimes unavailable when network maintainence is carried out. There’s no contract.
A free software download from http://www.speedbit.com/dap/ speeds up downloads by up to ten times as much. I use it all the time!
I have no problem watching Youtube videos or anything else.
Some sites (like WAP sites) run a lot better if you use another browser like Opera. I use the portable version which runs from a USB key.
More info and a link to download from if you’d like to try it. It doesn’t need to be installed on your computer:

I use the 7Gb per month option and have never managed to use it all up within one month. If I know I need to download a large file/ update I tend to wait until I can have access to a relative’s wireless connection.
mobile broadband, even if your getting a free laptop (you would be able to get a much better one with the money your going to spend on the broadband) is terrible, you would use up the bandwidth limmit if you watch movies or go on youtube within a week or a few days, and paying for another broadband connection when you already have one is a waste of time.
you will be tied into a contract for almost 2 years (18 months) and it works out at a lot. the more you pay the better laptop you will get, you can also pay more and get a better laptop for the same mobile broadband.
